Red Bud Health Clinic offers in-person, in-office services for patients experiencing respiratory or COVID-like symptoms.
When you or a family member begin experiencing respiratory or COVID-like symptoms, it affects everything. You instantly have questions. Will I miss work? Will my child miss school? Were we exposed? How do we get tested? Knowing how and where to access COVID-19 testing and care will allow you to prepare for the future.
Red Bud Health Clinic is here to help. Our Respiratory Clinic is a tract of the no-appointment walk-in Express Care. This means you can walk-in anytime during our normal business hours to be seen by a provider in our clinic. Because it is a primary care visit with a medical provider, co-pays and deductibles may apply according to your insurance plan. Please call us in advance if you have any questions.
Why is it important to see a primary care provider (PCP) when I’m sick?
COVID-19 is one of many illnesses. Influenza and strep throat are examples of illness that have similar symptoms to COVID-19. It is important to have an evaluation so appropriate testing is performed to determine the true cause for your illness. Treatment plans vary by diagnosis.
When would I use the Respiratory Clinic?
The Respiratory Clinic is designed to care for patients, in-person, who are experiencing symptoms, such as:
- Fever
- Cough
- Chills
- Shortness of breath
- Body aches
- Headache
- Loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion
How do I get tested?
If the Respiratory Clinic provider deems it necessary, testing can be completed during your appointment and before you leave our office.
Are respiratory patients amongst routine “well” patients?
Red Bud Health Clinic has two entrances. One is in the Main Lobby of Red Bud Regional Hospital for patients using the walk-in Express Care for illness non-related to respiratory or COVID-19. The second is on the south end of Red Bud Regional Hospital for patients experiencing the symptoms listed above that are related to COVID-19. This allows patients to safely receive care no matter if it is COVID or non-COVID related.
As an additional safety precaution, cleaning with clinical grade disinfectants is performed in exam rooms and waiting rooms routinely.
